Dr. Muhammad Rizwan

Muhammad Rizwan is an experienced soil and environmental scientist with over 10 years of research experience. He specializes in developing green materials, particularly engineered biochars, for remediating heavy metal-contaminated water and soil. His expertise also extends to nanomaterial characterization, environmental chemistry, and the study of trace metal dynamics, carbon sequestration, and climate change.

Currently a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellow at Yildiz Technical University in Istanbul, Rizwan is conducting independent and collaborative research while designing and executing advanced experiments. He has a strong background in grant writing, team management, and scientific publication. Previously, he worked as a Senior Postdoc Fellow at Changsha University of Science and Technology and held postdoctoral positions at Central South University, where he made significant contributions to biochar research and environmental remediation projects.

Rizwan has taught undergraduate courses in Environmental Sciences and played a significant role in several high-profile projects, with a particular focus on environmental pollutants and sustainable solutions. He has authored numerous research papers on biochar and its applications in environmental remediation. His exceptional work has earned him prestigious accolades, including the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellowship, along with multiple academic honors recognizing his research contributions.
