Application Overview
Applications will soon be accepted for the ECO-SPHERE Postdoctoral Fellowship First Call. All interested candidates are required to submit their applications exclusively through the online platform provided by ECO-SPHERE.
All applications must be submitted before 30 June 2024, 17:00 CET.
The application deadline has been extended to 17:00 CET on July 28th, 2024 due to high demand. Late applications cannot be accepted.
Before beginning your application, please make sure that you have read and understood all of the details contained within the Guide for Applicants and the Terms and Conditions documents.
A comprehensive application comprises multiple components, the specifics of which are outlined in the Guide for Applicants. This checklist serves as a helpful tool to ensure all necessary components are included. Additionally, the online portal provides step-by-step guidance to assist applicants in meeting the requirements.
Basic biographical details and supporting documents:
- Your name and email address are required to generate a profile on the portal.
- For statistical purposes, you will be asked to provide the details of your nationality and your identified gender.
- You will be asked to sign Personal Data Consent Form
- A copy of the Doctoral diploma and transcript of records are also required.
- A motivation letter (max. 2 pages) that includes an overview of research background and expertise, relevant skills and techniques, reason for applying, and the expected impact on career development.
- A CV in Europass template (max. 5 pages)
- Two Letters of References
- List of Academic publications and patents (if any).
- Softcopy (in pdf format) of 1 or 2 selected publications within the context of the call.
Project description and supporting documents:
- A research proposal (max. 10 pages) including objectives, methodology, expected outcomes, and exploitation plans in a template to be provided.
- You will need to approach and get the approval of a supervisor before submitting your application. This is an eligibility criterion and will be checked as part of the eligibility checks following the closure of the call. A signed Acceptance Letter from the proposed academic supervisor should be uploaded to the system.
- Ethics Self-Assessment declaration
