Dr. Hamid Rehman
Dr. Hamid Rehman is a postdoctoral fellow at Yildiz Technical University under the ECO-SPHERE programme. With a strong background in environmental sciences and biotechnology, Dr. Rehman specializes in pollution control, resource recovery, nanobubble technologies, and sustainable waste management. He has held academic and research roles across institutions in Pakistan and the United States, including Quaid-i-Azam University and UCLA.
His current research focuses on innovative approaches to lithium-ion battery waste management, exploring fungal bioleaching enhanced by nanobubbles to deliver both environmental and economic benefits. Dr. Rehman has authored several high-impact publications and contributed to numerous international research projects funded by agencies such as NSF, USAID, and the US FDA. A passionate environmental advocate and Fulbright awardee, he actively engages in scientific outreach and has received multiple accolades for his academic excellence and community leadership.
